Upcoming Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Programs (GWEP) Convening

In April, the Moving Forward Coalition is hosting Advancing CNA Career Pathways: Toward a Multi-State Approach to Workforce Development in Nursing Homes, a by-invitation, in-person convening of six state-based GWEPs and key partners. Participants will engage in a practical, cross-state examination of whether CNA workforce advancement models can be aligned, implemented, and scaled across states, with the goal of assessing the feasibility of a viable model that benefits workers, nursing home operators, and high-quality resident care nationwide. Convening findings will inform the creation of a report outlining key apprenticeship model refinements and steps for multi-state adoption.
